As such we have gained a substantial body of knowledge and expertise in related topics including Information Centric Networking, Mobile Opportunistic Networking and Satellite Networking. Our focus is on the development of innovative, experimental technology that we deploy in realistic scenarios for further debugging and evaluation. University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory, Systems Research Group has some 40 members and is divided into a number of subgroups. Networks and Operating Systems group (NetOS), which is involved in this proposal, undertakes teaching and research into topics including computer architecture, operating systems design, network monitoring and protocol design, practical distributed systems and mobile communications. The group works closely with other groups in the Computer Laboratory and University, as well as industrial partners such as Microsoft Research. Role in UMOBILE project
UCAM will contribute to the UMOBILE architecture with the QoS mechanisms based on monitoring and service migration.
