UMOBILE consortium participated at ACM ICN held in Berlin in September 26-28.

It was a single track conference focusing on current ICN research topics, featuring paper presentations and demonstrations. Paulo Mendes (Copelabs), Angela D'Angelo (AFA Systems), Igor Santos (Senception) and Alexandros Sarros (Athena Research and Innovation Center) told the innovation aspects of UMOBILE research concerning ICN:

  •  NDN operation in opportunistic wireless networks based in contextual awareness;
  •  the integration of DTN and NDN to facilitate communications when network is impaired;
  •  the UMOBILE Lab: the first NDN/ICN testbed federated in Europe.
